Perfect getaway in Lydney! 🌟
Everything was lekker! The breakfast was made to order and so good. The staff were super friendly—chatted with us like long-lost chommies. Plus, our room had a cozy vibe with fresh coffee and a lovely garden view. It really made our stay special!
The room was a bit small, but we managed fine.

lovely decoration, charming building, unique atmosphere
Double room significantly smaller than expected!!! The noise from the road is annoying and intrusive!!! A dirty tea cup saucer and hair in another cup add to an uncomfortable experience!!!

The atmosphere was truly charming, with a cozy vibe complemented by modern decor and exposed beams. The bed offered a delightful night's sleep, enhancing the comfort of our stay. Breakfast featured a scrumptious full fry-up, and the kind owners demonstrated genuine interest in our comfort and dietary needs, which made it even better. the room was on the smaller side, and the heating required some adjustment to find the optimal warmth, but these were minor setbacks.

The atmosphere bears a unique charm with lovely garden views that enhance the cozy vibe of the place. The rooms are decorated nicely, adding a touch of quaintness, making it a visual treat to stay in.
The room felt cramped and small, particularly the bathroom which was difficult to navigate, compounded by low water pressure. The heating in the room was troublesome, cutting out at odd moments, and controlling it wasn’t intuitive, leaving the temperature uncomfortable. the mattress was notably poor, causing restless nights as it sank in the middle, so if you like quality sleep, you might be in for a rough time. Light seeped in through the moth-eaten curtains, further detracting from a restful atmosphere.
